Numbers

My world is full of numbers at the moment.  Everywhere I look they are there, reminding of my goals and the path I need to take to reach them.  I’ve never been a “number” person, but I’ve learnt over the past year, that they are really, really important, especially when you are trying to lose weight. 

Here are the numbers that are dominating my world at the moment:
12 – The number of weeks I’m hoping will “transform” my body & my soul.

3 – How many days I’ve been on the program so far.

81 – How many days are left.

20 – How much weight I want to lose (& hopefully I’ll do it in the 12 weeks).
20 – How much weight I’ve already lost.
67 – My goal weight.
87 – What the scales said on Sunday.
86.7 – What the scales said this morning.

1200 – The number of calories I’m allowed each day.
500 – How many calories I need to burn during each workout.

6 – The number of workouts I’m to do each week.
8 – The number of workouts I’m actually doing.

7 – My favourite number.
4 – My other favourite number (no guess for why?).

10 – On Friday Owen & I will celebrate our 10th Wedding anniversary.  The past 10 years have been fabulous & I can’t wait for the next 10, 20, 30, 40 & 50.
36 – Tomorrow I will turn 36!!  36!!!  That’s twice the legal drinking age (18 was a fun year!) & half of 72.

Some days I feel old & haggard, which I think probably comes from having four kids.  Other days, I feel amazing.  The last three days I’ve had heaps of energy & feel younger than I have for a very long time.

P.S. - Loving Nina on Offspring tonight - my absolute favourite show!!  I've had the same wobbly boot Nina.  In fact The Townsville Cup last year comes to mind...
